Expanded the battery business based on innovation
Established a joint electric vehicle battery corporation with the BAIC Group and Beijing Electronics Holding to supply batteries for electric taxis in Beijing, which saw a rapid rise in personal and corporate full electric vehicle demand since 2013.
We supplied the batteries for the Soul EV, which is a pure electric vehicle model from Kia Motors that has been sold in the global market since 2014, and we secured the order for a large-scale project from Daimler Mercedes-Benz in early 2016 and received recognition for our technological competence and mass-production capabilities once again.
